Sheri Cox Bowling, BS, SOTS, designed and implemented a $ 9 million dollar long term recovery program for a faith based agency in Biloxi, MS after Hurricane Katrina. Mrs. Bowling has designed juvenile justice programs and drug prevention programs for school systems and community mental health agencies. Mrs. Bowling has provided training workshops for law enforcement, probation and correctional officers as well as mental health and school counselors in Florida and Alabama. Mrs. Bowling has 12 years experience providing counseling services to adult and juvenile offenders in prison, county jail and alternative school settings. Mrs. Bowling has more than twenty years of experience working in disasters in various positions from volunteer to counseling to law enforcement. Mrs. Bowling is a certified Sex offender Treatment Specialist, has served as an addiction counselor and a state correctional officer. Mrs. Bowling is the author of Sorrow's Song, a grief recovery process journal and INSIGHT, a workbook for offenders helping them to identify their criminal thinking patterns and change their criminal behavior. John H. Bowling, RN, BS, has both military and civilian experience setting up and supervising field medical operations as well as supervising staff during natural disasters. Currently Mr. Bowling serves as the Surgical Nurse Manager for the VA Hospital. Mr. Bowling supervisors four service departments within the VA system, including the surgical suites, ASOU, PACU and PreAdmit. Mr. Bowling brings a wealth of managerial and analysis experience to our team. Dr. Jill Hall is a licensed psychologist in private practice in Alabama. Dr. Hall has been an instructor in Criminal Justice studies at Pensacola Junior College and taught in the Police Academy at PJC. Dr. Hall is a certified Sex offender Treatment Specialist and has more than twenty years of counseling experience. Ms. Deanna Misko serves as the Training Coordinator for SCJC. Ms. Misko has experience as a law enforcement officer in the state of Mississippi and has recently served as the volunteer/ training coordinator for a nonprofit long term recovery organization in Biloxi. |
